PASSHE Vision Statement
PASSHE is committed to the principle of inclusive academic practice across the higher education sector. An understanding of the impact of intersectionality is core to our work. Diversity is about counting people; for us inclusion is about insisting people count.
We are pioneers in the field of specialist one-to-one study skills support for students in higher education with specific learning differences (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia). The scope of our work has broadened to include co-occurring conditions such as ADHD and ASC. We uphold the right of all neurodivergent students to flourish in academic environments, and beyond.
PASSHE’s 7-Principles® of best practice underpin our professional pedagogic expertise in developing students’ metacognition, resilience and enthusiasm for learning. Our members are committed to Quality Assured professional practice, underpinned by PASSHE’s Professional Peer Supervision®.
